Bluetooth Autoplay Music 4.01

This app was developed initially for personal use and later shared with a wider audience on the Play Store. It has proven to be highly practical and effective during the long period of time I've been using it.

The app is compatible with the following music players:

• Youtube Music
• Spotify

While it may or may not work seamlessly with other music players, it is specifically designed to support the ones mentioned above.

Upon connecting to a selected Bluetooth device, this app can perform various functions such as turning on the screen and dismissing the keyguard. Notably, on Android 9 and older devices with Smartlock enabled, it can even dismiss a keyguard with a screen lock.

One of the highlights of this app is its compatibility with Maps/Waze. By utilizing its features, you can have the app launch directions to your workplace or home during specific times when connected to Bluetooth. This is particularly useful for optimizing your commute.

When a selected Bluetooth audio device is connected, the app offers the following options:

• Keeping the screen on until device disconnects
• Putting the phone in Priority Mode until device disconnects
• Setting media volume to maximum and restoring the original volume on disconnect
• Launching your music player
• Dismissing the KeyGuard
• Launching Google Maps or Waze

The app also provides several options that can be enabled or disabled:

• Auto-Play music/podcasts
• The app will not launch on Bluetooth audio connect unless the phone is charging (Note: Once a Bluetooth audio connection has been established, the user can connect their phone to power at any time to launch the app)
• Going to the home screen on Bluetooth device disconnect
• The app will not launch during a call
• Setting maximum media volume - adjusting the maximum level that the app sets when 'Set Media Volume to MAX' is turned on
• Using Priority Mode - If 'Do Not Disturb' mode is enabled, the app will put the phone in Priority Mode instead of Silent Mode

The app provides options for keeping the screen on:

• Auto Brightness (requires coarse location) - The app uses a single coarse location of the phone to calculate sunrise and sunset times, ensuring that the screen is brighter during the day and dimmer at night. The location is only obtained when the phone connects to a Bluetooth device and does not update once connected.
• Manual Brightness Times - Users can manually set 'Keep Screen ON' bright and dim times.

For Maps/Waze functionality, users can choose from the following options:

• Using specific times to launch Maps/Waze - Maps/Waze will only be launched between the specified start and end times.
• Selecting days to launch Maps/Waze - Users can choose which days Maps should be launched upon connecting with 'Launch Maps/Waze' enabled.
• Launching with Directions - Maps/Waze will be launched with directions to WORK/HOME/CUSTOM locations. For Waze, a full address is required, while Maps necessitates the name of a favorite place.
